Position Details:

  • Dept: Inventory
  • Reports To: General Manager
  • Direct Reports: Warehouse Staff
  • Position Status: Full-time Exempt
  • Key Liaisons: General Manager, Project Manager, Sales Manager, Warehouse Staff, Vendors

Position Purpose:

To provide efficient, effective management of Allsite Structure Rentals Inventory.

Key Responsibilities:


  • 100% accuracy of shipments
  • Inventory numbers and locations are kept accurate in software
  • Repair work is completed correctly, and no damaged inventory is sent to site
  • The warehouse team are productive during working hours to meet agreed daily goals
  • No workplace safety incidents occur in the warehouse or yard 

Inventory Management

  • Maintain and organize accurate records of inventory, including movement to depots, jobs, etc.
  • Perform routine cycle counts to ensure proper checks and balances of inventory.
  • Utilize inventory software to record and maintain inventory levels in real time and orders material as needed.
  • Forecast inventory needs and other requirements based on sales pipeline.
  • Coordinate and move material from depots, jobsites, etc.
  • Effectively develop BOM based off contract and engineering drawings.
  • Develop load plans for shipments and organize trucks for shipping.
  • Oversee orders to ensure they are accurately shipped.
  • Inspect parts for damage and defects before returning to inventory.
  • Review and report all damage, missing parts, and extra labor to the Project Manager.
  • Evaluate shipping, receiving and storage processes for continuous improvement.

Warehouse Management

  • Maintain required equipment and tools.
  • Oversee and maintain facilities.
  • Manage and order consumables.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard.
  • Perform all duties of warehouse staff including shipping, receiving, loading and offloading trucks, modifying, fixing, repairing and basic fabrication of parts, washing and repairing fabrics.

People Management

  • Oversee warehouse staff ensuring maximum productivity and engagement from the team.
  • Develop, train, and implement safety plan, and ensure team always works in a safe manner.
  • Ensure the team has proper PPE to perform the task at hand.
  • Review performance regularly for all team members.
  • Manage the recruitment and training on warehouse staff and depots.
  • Train warehouse staff and depots on all equipment and tools.
  • Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by the team.
  • Manage schedules to ensure timely communication of staff roster, management of leave and communicate impacts of leave with other departments/persons.


Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
People management skills
Inventory management software and forecasting strategies
Shipping and receiving
Operating Warehouse equipment including forklift
Safety and OSHA requirements

  • Basic computer and Excel skills.

Physical Demands of the Role:

  • Able to remain in a stationary sitting position 50% of the time.
  • Frequently stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.
  • Working with a team of people to safely move large materials either through use of machinery or human capacity.
  • Close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Hearing and talking during regular telephone communication with vendors and team.
  • Using hands and fingers for regular operation of computers and office equipment.
  • Limited travel between company locations or vendors from time to time.

Salary to commensurate with experience; range $70,000-$80,000. / EEO
